Jennifer A. Puza
Associate
Jennifer Puza is an Associate in the Sacramento office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. She represents clients in a variety of employment matters, including litigation, employee discipline, and labor strikes. Jennifer also has experience handling FLSA exemption audits, counseling on employment matters, and guiding clients through the interactive process.
Prior to her time at LCW, Jennifer interned for the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing and worked in the UC Davis School of Law’s Aoki Sentence Reduction Clinic. Jennifer also interned for the California Law Revision Commission and the California Office of the Attorney General’s Employment & Administrative Mandate division.
Before law school, Jennifer worked as an elections and civic engagement researcher for the University of California, Davis, where she published a report in The California Journal of Politics and Policy titled “The Ballot Transparency Act: Examining its Impact on Legislative Compromise in California.” Jennifer also served as a legislative affairs intern for the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr. While at UC Davis, Jennifer earned the Witkin Award for Legal Research & Writing II during the Spring of 2019.
