La Rita R. Turner

La Rita R. Turner is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore (LCW). La Rita is an experienced litigator and has handled FEHA, whistleblower retaliation, wage and hour claims, and class actions in state and federal courts. La Rita handles all aspects of litigation including pleading motion practice, fact and expert discovery, dispositive motion practice, and binding arbitration and/or jury trials.

La Rita is particularly accomplished in the area of trial preparation—including drafting motions in limine and expert discovery. Prior to her time at LCW, La Rita worked at Los Angeles-area plaintiffs’ law firms focused on employment and litigation matters. She is a member of the Black Women’s Lawyers Association, the Langston Bar Association and the California Employment Lawyers Association.
