Matt Doyle
Senior Consultant
Matt brings his extensive public sector background to the aid of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore clients statewide. Having served as the Director of Human Resources for the City of Glendale, Matt oversaw a comprehensive human resources operation consisting of labor and employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, benefits, training, health services and workers’ compensation.
As Senior Consultant, Matt supports the Firm’s labor relations practice by providing guidance to developing labor negotiators and human resources practitioners. He consults with clients across the state on Human Resource/Labor Relations best practices and provides training to clients on management-related topics. Matt also contributes to the Firm’s internal training program, providing client perspective to the delivery of our services.
Matt has a Bachelor’s Degree from California State University Northridge in Political Science and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from California State University Long Beach’s Graduate Center for Public Policy and Analysis. He also possesses the Master of Labor Relations Certificate from the California Public Labor Relations Association (CALPELRA). He is a member of several professional organizations and has been on the Board of Directors for the Southern California Public Labor Relations Council (SCPLRC) for nearly twenty-five years, twice serving as President. A long-time resident of the City of Burbank, Matt has been an appointee to the Burbank Civil Service Commission for twenty-four years, serving as its chairman a total of seven times.
