Millicent O. Usoro
Associate
Millicent Usoro is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore where she advises clients on labor and employment law matters and represents education clients on matters such as contracting, Title IX policy, discrimination, student privacy and investigations. She is experienced in developing and reviewing contracts—including employment, affiliation and commercial agreements; releases; licenses; and waivers— and she assists clients in navigating potential legal implications and regulatory requirements related to those matters. Millicent also advises clients regarding employee benefits, contract disputes and wage and hour matters.
Prior to her work at LCW, Millicent was the Attorney Fellow in the Office of General Counsel at the George Washington University where she provided legal advice and counsel to the University in all aspects of higher education law. She also served as a law clerk for the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection and was a legal intern for the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia. She also worked at a D.C.-area law firm that specializes in litigating class actions on behalf of deceived purchasers.
