Victoria M. Gómez Philips is an Associate in the Los Angeles office of Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. Victoria advises clients on business and transactional matters, including legal and business risks concerning strategic partnerships, contracts, employment, operations, and company policies. She is skilled in conducting depositions and drafting pleadings and discovery documents for business litigation, and settlement agreements. As an extension of her expertise, Victoria analyzes business and employment agreements, documents, and communications on behalf of clients and she counsels clients on employment issues, standard operating procedures and trademarks. In addition, she is a sharp legal researcher.
Prior to her time at Liebert Cassidy Whitmore, Victoria worked at several employment- and litigation-focused Los Angeles-area law firms. During law school, she was a legal extern at the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and a law clerk at the California Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General. In addition, Victoria served as a law clerk for the Community Development Project of Public Counsel where she worked with clients on landlord/tenant and state licensing issues, operations manuals and employment documents, and created small business client workshops on business, marketing, and legal topics.
